We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising purposes.
3. Third-Party Data Sharing
We only share data when strictly necessary:
Card payment partner — When you top up with a Visa/Mastercard, your card details are processed directly by our international payment partner. Accnest never receives or stores your card number.
Privy (authentication) — Manages sign-in and wallet creation. Privy receives the authentication information necessary for sign-in (email, OAuth token). See Privy's policy at privy.io/privacy.
Public blockchain — On-chain transactions are publicly visible (wallet address, amount, timestamp). This is inherent to blockchain technology, not a disclosure made by Accnest.
Legal requirements — We may provide data when required by a valid legal request from law enforcement in accordance with applicable law.
4. Data Security
We apply multiple layers of data protection:
Inventory encryption — All seller inventory credentials are encrypted with AES-256-GCM at rest, and only decrypted at the exact moment of delivery to a paying buyer.
User-controlled wallet — Your wallet's private key is controlled by you (via Privy). Accnest does not have access to your private key.
Secure authentication — Authentication tokens are protected with digital signatures, stored in temporary memory, time-limited, and auto-refreshed.
HTTPS — All connections are encrypted via HTTPS.
5. Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
Right to access — View the data we store about you. Contact support to request a copy.
Right to correct — Update your account information at any time via Settings.
Right to opt out — Opt out of marketing emails (if any). Transaction and security-related emails will still be sent.
Right to export — Request an export of your personal data in a common format.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us via support email.
6. Cookies
We use the minimum necessary cookies:
Session cookies — Maintain your logged-in state while browsing
Security cookies — Detect unusual activity
We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.
7. Data Retention
Account data: retained until you delete your account
Transaction data: retained for a minimum period as required by applicable law (typically 5 years)
IP addresses and technical logs: deleted after 90 days
On-chain data: permanent (by nature of blockchain)
8. International Users
Accnest serves a global user base. Data may be processed in various countries. We apply appropriate protections regardless of where data is processed.
If you are in the European Union, you have additional rights under GDPR. If you are in California, you have rights under CCPA. Contact support to exercise these rights.
9. Minors
Accnest is not intended for anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we discover a minor's account, we will delete the account and all associated data.
10. Security Incident Notification
If a security incident occurs that affects your personal data, we will notify you within 72 hours of discovery, including: the nature of the incident, the type of data affected, and the remediation steps we are taking.
11. Policy Changes
When we update this policy, we will:
Update the "Last updated" date at the top of the page
Notify you via email or an in-app notice for significant changes
